WisdomAI Secures $50M Funding Round Led by Kleiner and Nvidia

WisdomAI Lands $50 Million in Series A Funding Led by Kleiner Perkins and Nvidia

WisdomAI, an innovative startup in AI data analytics founded by Soham Mazumdar, has successfully secured $50 million in a Series A funding round. The investment, led by Kleiner Perkins, also sees participation from NVentures, the venture capital arm of Nvidia. This latest funding comes just six months after the company raised $23 million in seed funding, highlighting rapid investor confidence.

WisdomAI specializes in AI-powered data analytics solutions that intelligently address business inquiries using both structured and unstructured data, including data that is often messy or contains errors. By allowing users to pose questions in natural language—such as “How many customers are in my pipeline, and what’s holding up their closure this quarter?”—the platform simplifies complex data access.

To counter the common issue of LLM hallucinations, WisdomAI employs a unique approach: it uses large language models (LLMs) solely for generating queries sent to data warehouses. This method mitigates the risk of LLMs producing inaccurate answers, ensuring users receive reliable insights.

The startup has developed an “enterprise context layer” that comprehensively examines customer data to derive actionable insights. All co-founders of WisdomAI previously collaborated with Mazumdar at the data security firm Rubrik, bringing extensive experience in enterprise storage solutions to the table. Mazumdar departed from Rubrik in 2023 to focus on this venture.

Since its launch in late 2024, WisdomAI has seen impressive growth, expanding its client base from two to approximately 40 enterprise customers, including prominent companies such as Descope, ConocoPhillips, Cisco, and Patreon. Notably, the platform’s usage among existing clients has surged, with some companies reporting a doubling of usage in just two months. One customer transitioned from 10 to 450 users, effectively involving nearly the entire organization.

Additionally, WisdomAI has introduced an agentic feature designed to provide real-time alerts on critical changes in monitored situations. Mazumdar noted that he created an agent to track product usage metrics and ticket information in just five minutes, emphasizing proactive insights over traditional static reporting.

This advanced approach aims to redefine analytics by making it dynamic and responsive to users’ needs, highlighting the potential for AI to transform how businesses engage with data.
