With this transition, Meta asserts that their AI technology has significantly bolstered account security, contributing to a reported 30% decrease in hacks across Facebook and Instagram. The system also actively combats various threats, including phishing and unauthorized logins, enhancing overall platform safety. Furthermore, Meta claims AI has improved the accuracy of account disabling algorithms and expedited appeals processes, although many users report contrasting experiences, citing wrongful account restrictions.
