Google Expands AI Capabilities with Innovative Flight and Event Booking Features

Google has unveiled a range of new tools within its AI Mode, significantly enhancing user experience across multiple services. The beta version of Flight Deals, an AI-driven search feature integrated into Google Flights, is now available globally. This tool allows users to discover the most competitive flight deals by responding to natural-language inquiries.

In addition to Flight Deals, Google is enhancing the agentic functionalities of AI Mode for many users across the United States. This includes assistance in making restaurant reservations, securing event tickets, and scheduling beauty or wellness appointments.

One of the standout new features is called Canvas, designed to provide users with a structured environment for planning trips or projects. Through the Canvas tool, users can articulate their travel preferences, prompting the AI to recommend destinations, hotels, and booking options tailored to their specifications.

In a move to further integrate AI into its ecosystem, Google also recently introduced several AI-centric shopping enhancements. Among these is an agentic checkout feature, which enables users to track prices and authorize purchases when items reach their target discounts.

As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation, Google continues to roll out an array of AI features across its product suite, which now includes Google Photos, Google Messages, and the Android platform.
