This announcement brings together popular software such as Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro for both Mac and iPad, along with enhancements for existing apps like Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. Priced at $12.99 per month or $129 annually, subscriptions also feature discounted rates for students and educators at just $2.99 monthly or $29.99 yearly. A one-month free trial is available, and new Mac or qualifying iPad buyers can enjoy an extended three-month complimentary subscription.
The suite’s standout inclusion, Pixelmator Pro, makes its debut on the iPad after Apple’s acquisition last year. This application aims to rival leading design tools like Photoshop and Procreate, offering intuitive drawing and image editing capabilities.
Key updates to Final Cut Pro include intelligent features such as Transcript and Visual Search to streamline video searching, along with a new Beat Detection capability that helps editors synchronize footage with music more seamlessly. The iPad version also introduces a Montage Maker that leverages AI to craft videos from selected highlights, while an Auto Crop feature facilitates adjustments between horizontal and vertical formats—ideal for content creators.
Logic Pro has also received noteworthy upgrades, notably AI Session Players that accompany user-recorded tracks and an advanced Synth Player for enhanced music creation. Additionally, tools like Motion and Compressor, which integrate with Final Cut Pro, round out the offering.
