Zenzero and Microsoft Call for UK Firms to Enhance Data Resilience Amid AI Growth

Zenzero and Microsoft Emphasize the Importance of Data Resilience for UK Enterprises in Light of AI Expansion

Zenzero, a leading Microsoft Solutions Partner in the UK, in collaboration with QuoStar, has called on businesses to enhance their data resilience as the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) accelerates. This imperative was highlighted during their recent event, “Driving Data Forward,” held on November 14, 2025, at the Mercedes-Benz World in Coventry. The gathering attracted over 70 senior IT professionals, including CIOs and CTOs, to address a pressing challenge facing organizations today: while many are eager to implement AI initiatives, most lack the robust data infrastructure necessary to fully leverage its benefits.

These discussions align with broader themes currently being explored at the World Economic Forum’s New Champions Retreat in Geneva. Michael Bateman, CEO of Zenzero, is actively contributing to the development of the New Champions resilience playbook, a strategic guide aimed at assisting mid-sized organizations in adapting to future operational demands amid the evolving landscape of AI and advanced technologies.

Wayde Finch, Zenzero’s Director of Data and Development Services, remarked, “AI’s effectiveness is intrinsically linked to the quality of your data. Given the current economic pressures, rising cyber threats, and increasing regulatory requirements, cultivating data resilience has become a strategic priority for any business investing in AI.” He emphasized that once foundational elements are solidified, tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Copilot can drive significant transformation.

The event featured keynote speaker Alex Karim, an AI Architect at Microsoft’s Innovation Hub, who offered insights into practical strategies for achieving AI readiness, underlining the critical nature of data integrity and secure governance. Additionally, a fireside chat between Dominic Lloyd, Head of Microsoft Partner Relations at Zenzero, and former racing driver Ben Collins, examined the parallels between elite motorsport’s reliance on data and instinct, and the necessity for businesses to make informed, real-time decisions in the face of uncertainty.

The program concluded with actionable recommendations for organizations to strengthen their data resilience, including enhancing data quality, integrating isolated systems, obtaining real-time insights via Power BI, and fortifying cybersecurity measures. Finch remarked, “The dialogue on data resilience is resonating globally, from Geneva to London, with leaders acknowledging that robust data is foundational for responsible and effective AI deployment.”
