Currently, Sora holds the No. 1 spot in both the U.S. and Canadian App Stores. Upcoming enhancements include innovative video editing capabilities, the introduction of customizable “cameos” featuring pets and objects, and an upgrade to its social networking functionalities. An Android version of the app is also confirmed to be on the way.
Bill Peebles, head of Sora, announced these updates via X, emphasizing that new creation tools will be available within days. Users will soon have the ability to create AI personas of pets or favorite items, such as stuffed toys, turning them into engaging cameos.
