2Gether-International Celebrates Completion of Innovative A.I. Accelerator for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities
In a milestone achievement, 2Gether-International (2GI) has successfully concluded its pioneering A.I. Cohort Accelerator designed specifically for entrepreneurs with disabilities. Powered by Comcast and supported by JPMorgan Chase, this initiative highlights the intersection of disability-led innovation and artificial intelligence.
The A.I. Cohort, unique in its focus, extended over seven weeks of intensive online training, equipping participants with essential tools to enhance their business models and implement responsible A.I. practices. Founders engaged in hands-on sessions covering investment readiness, ethical frameworks, and technical integration, all aimed at leveraging A.I. to foster accessibility and inclusivity.
Courtney "Coko" Eason, U.S. Accelerator Program Manager at 2GI, stated, "The founders in this program are not just advancing their businesses; they are laying the groundwork for a more inclusive technological landscape." The program concluded with a dynamic pitch competition, where entrepreneurs showcased their innovative ventures to potential investors. Kathy Long, CEO of NixIt AI, emerged as the winner with her platform aiming to unify the support systems for neurodivergent families.
Notable participants in the A.I. Cohort included:
- Abhilash Akuthota, NextStopAI: Pioneering an A.I. travel companion for efficient trip planning.
- Hamza Abualkhair, Lothgha: Developing an app for accessible speech therapy tailored to individual needs.
- Harish and Sandhya Bikmal, NextGen ASPIRE: Creating A.I. therapies for rapid progress in children with autism.
Additional innovators included founders from companies like MRGN, MansaTek, and NeuroLeapONE, all working on transformative A.I. solutions.
Diego Mariscal, CEO and Founder of 2GI, emphasized the organization’s mission: "Entrepreneurs with disabilities are at the forefront of identifying challenges and crafting innovative solutions." This program demonstrates that disability-led A.I. innovation is not just feasible but essential for progress.
Moving forward, 2GI continues to expand its reach, with a goal to support 5,000 founders by 2030, having already aided over 1,000 entrepreneurs in raising approximately $84 million in funding. For more insights on the A.I. Cohort Accelerator, visit the 2Gether-International website.
